This was inspired by the Absolut Vodka ads with the reflected spotlight. I wanted to see if I could duplicate the effect using only Adobe Illustrator. The reflection in the spotlight was also completely rendered in Adobe Illustrator.
With the exception of the spotlight reflection, I'm still using my standard black outline illustration technique. However, I did begin expanding my coloring and shading by using gradients.
